Blue Mountain is a perfect destination with a variety of sports and activities all year round. We have highlighted must-try activities below, check it out! 

Hit the Slopes!

Blue Mountain is a perfect place for all ages and skill levels. The South and Village sides are perfect for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. The North, Orchard and Iue Mountain Inn sides are recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders. If you do not have your own equipment just 10 minutes (walk!) away from the cottage is the Blue Mountain Ski rentals centre providing ski and snowboard rentals. Go Tubing!

If you are looking for a low-impact activity that’s great for the whole family, tubing is a great option. The tickets are sold in 3-hour sessions and begin every hour on the hour. There is no age requirement however all tubers must be at least 36” tall. The park also offers value night every Thursday. For more information on the prices, check out their website

Tread Through the Snow

If you are looking for a scenic activity to enjoy nature, check out cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Blue Mountain Adventure Park offers ski and snowshoe rentals as well as day passes to over 30 km of beautifully groomed trails. There is a great family option, costing $29 (plus taxes) per family which includes 2 adults, and 2 children. For more information, check out their website

Go Ice Skating!

7 minutes away from the cottage is a beautiful 1.1km ice skating loop through the beautiful forest. In the evenings the skating trail turns into a wonderland with thousands of interactive lights. Reach new Heights

Snowshoe across Southern Ontario’s longest suspension bridge. The footbridge is 420 feet above the ground and provides you with a stunning 360 degree view of the scenic hills. On a clear day, you can see 10,000 square kilometres, all the way to the Georgian Bay and beyond. Access to the bridge is included in the general park admission rate. Stroll Through the Village

Walking through Blue Mountain Village is a great way to unwind and sight see. There are great stores and restaurants to visit. Get into the Christmas spirit by visiting Georgian Christmas, a family-run holiday gift store. They sell unique ornaments, seasonal decor and souvenirs. Scale the Mountain

Blue Mountain offers a wide range of beautiful golf courses. Georgian Bay area is rated as one of Ontario’s best golf destinations. Check out this website for information on top rated golf courses in the area.

Relax at the spa

After a long day of bracing the cold, escape to the serenity of Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain. Explore the Caves

ScenicCaves Nature Adventures provides access to a series of natural caves. Take a self-guided tour of the caverns chiselled by the glacial ice millions of years ago. Check out their map and admission prices on their website.

Fly Through the Sky

Try zip lining with Wind Rider Triple Zips and cruise at the altitude of 50 feet. This adventure gives you an exceptional view of the hills and village surrounding you. For more information check out their website
